With over 25 difference courses including: Tile-Making, Plein Air Painting, Shibori Japanese Fabric Dying, Willow Basketry and Stained Glass Making, the Lunenburg Seaside Craft School truly is a one-of-a-kind learning experience.
Rates start at $295 for a 5-day week-long course, and $120 for the weekend “sampler” programs. There is a slight materials charge which varies for each class. Accommodations and meals are on your own, but the school has a list of B&B’s which offer discounts to the students. The town of Lunenburg is itself a great destination for a get-a-way, and is one of only two UNESCO cities in North America. The other is fellow Canadian Quebec.
